Fragilis Terrae (Fragile Earth)

This body of work grew from contemplating the effects of climate change and its inherent duality: hot or cold, wet or dry. I take two photos of a general location during different seasons and combine them during post-processing, much like an in-camera multiple exposure. In playing with opacity, saturation, and blending modes, the result is an evocative semi-abstract rendering of our natural world under extreme stress.
